Meetings


Here are the meetings for the Fall ’09 semester of the MTSU Anime Club. Our main meetings are Thursday nights this semester, but as you can see, there’s plenty of other times we get together, so feel free to stop by at any of our meetings or events. ADAs and parties will be announced on the blog and forums beforehand. However, you can scroll to the bottom for a complete listing of this semester’s events.

Weekly Gatherings

  • Wednesday Night Anime Club Meetings - Mass Comm 104, 6pm – 9pm.Wednesday Main Meetings are our core meetings. We get together to hang out, go over club business, participate in some club activities, and maybe watch an anime episode or five. If you want to find plenty of people who share your interest in anime, this is the place to be. All Meetings are free to attend, there are no dues!

  • Thursday Night Movie/J-TV Meetings – BAS S118, 6pm – 10pm.Our Movie/J-TV Nights are where we take a break from the usual anime episodes. The night alternates weekly between showing movies (both anime and live-action) and showing Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, other tokusatsu-related shows, J-Dramas like Sexy Voice and Robo and Densha Otoko, and various Japanese short films and wacky commercials.

ADA Events & Parties

Once or twice a month we will have an All Day Anime event (ADA). Occasionally, there will be parties tacked on to the end of them. For specific dates, please check the calendar. The Anime room starts at 11pm in BAS s328. We break for lunch at noon to go to Chef Wang’s. We get things running again at 2pm. This is also when we open up the Game Room in BAS s262. Both rooms run concurrently; however, the game room closes at 7pm while the anime room closes at 8pm.

For parties, both rooms will close at 5pm. The gaming room will be used for the party room. There is a Halloween party on October 30th, and a Christmas party on December 4th.
